Oak Restaurant


 

 

Our spacious and well appointed Oak Restaurant is the ideal place to wine and dine someone special or simply to relax and enjoy a superb meal at the end of a long day.


Here we offer you a lovely dining experience in a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy a delicious meal encompassing a superb selection of the finest Scottish and international cuisine. Our chefs love to create meals using the finest local produce to ensure the most exquisite dining experience and our wine cellar is fully stocked with a selection of fine wines to compliment your meal.


All food is freshly prepared under the close supervision of our excellent Executive Chef and served discreetly and efficiently by a friendly and attentive waiting staff. If you choose to stay for a few days, our chefs will be happy to discuss and prepare your favourite dishes.

       

 

Scots Bar

Our Scots Bar is the ideal place to relax and enjoy your pre-dinner drinks.


If you're looking for something less formal, or simply seeking a place to shed the aches and pains of a day's walking in the company of some friends, our warm and inviting bar is the perfect solution. Popular with locals and visitors alike, the bar serves as a focal point for guests to meet and relax in friendly, comfortable surroundings.


Decorated in the style of Rennie Mackintosh with an open fire providing that unique atmosphere for which the Birnam Hotel is renowned. Adorning the walls, you will marvel at the pictures of Scottish heroes - a real talking point looking down from the walls as you sip that cognac or hold an informal business meeting over lunch.


As the sun sinks, the atmosphere changes to one of convivial laughter and the merry clink of glasses. As you would expect, the bar has a wide range of malt whiskies, traditional ales, spirits, beers and soft drinks, not to mention superb bar meals on offer seven days a week, it's easy to see why some guests regard it as a true home away from home.
