There's nothing quite the same as a traditional Highland wedding and what better place to celebrate the happy occasion than in a fully restored traditional Baronial Hall. Complete with spacious dance floor, spectacular vaulted ceiling, traditional dark oak beams and it's own self-contained bar, the Baronial Hall is sure to add a touch of highland magic to any celebration.
We offer a wide variety of choices for wedding venues. The magnificent and majestic Baronial Hall can seat up to 135, The Oak Restaurant can seat 50, and The Cameron Suite would suit an intimate wedding ceremony of up to 24 or as a drinks reception area for a larger function. All three areas with the addition of the reception and splendid staircase make it the perfect wedding venue.

Whether it is a quiet intimate gathering, renewing old vows or a traditional full wedding celebration, our attention to detail and flexibility will ensure the perfect Wedding Breakfast and Reception, so you and your guests can relax and celebrate your day in style.
We love hosting wedding receptions at the Birnam Hotel and will do all we can to make the day extra special. We have a trained staff on hand with many years of experience who will help you plan and arrange this momentous day with as little stress as possible. After the festivities are over you'll want somewhere special to relax and unwind and enjoy a glass of fine champagne to reflect on the day's events. All our bedrooms have recently been upgraded to a high level and offer the discerning guest a comfortable night's accommodation.
We also have a 4-poster bed for the bride and groom. Our spectacular Honeymoon Suite provides a haven with it's magnificent solid oak four poster bed, deep pile carpets and luxurious soft furnishings it's so comfortable you'll want to stay forever.

The setting of the Hotel in beautiful Birnam, Perthshire is lovely. The Baronial Hall for our wedding breakfest and the 'hooley' after was special, and made it a very grand day for all. The menu was designed to our needs. The many guests- we filled the Hotel- had no complaints, indeed were very complimentary on our choice of venue and service. Many said it felt like a holiday as well as a wedding with the beautiful scenery and grounds near by.
I also felt the prices were extremely reasonable, when so many venues we considered saw 'a wedding' as an opportunity to quote silly prices.
